The Classic Line Magnetic stripe readers and ID Innovations Bar code decoders can transmit RS232 data when couple with an ID Innovations RS232 Serial Converter.  The serial converter comes complete with power supply and necessary cabling for your implementation.  The model pictured above is a RS232-25Y which can be placed inline between a host and terminal.  The Serial converter is capable of transmitting both Full Duplex and Half Duplex.  The configuration for all Serial Converters is maintained in the Magnetic Stripe Reader or Bar code decoder that you have connected to them.  In addition to serial Y model we also have a 9 pin Female version and 25 pin Male version available.
